Relationship Questionnaire

The Relationship Questionnaire is used in research studies, clinical settings, and personal assessments. It helps researchers examine attachment styles, guides therapists in treatment planning, and promotes self-awareness and relationship understanding for individuals.

It is a self-report measure comprising 18 items, with participants rating the applicability of each item on a scale of 1 to 7. Completion of the RQ typically takes around 10 minutes.

Instead of categorizing scores as good or bad, it is more meaningful to interpret the scores in relation to the individual's own attachment style and the context of their relationships. Higher scores may suggest healthier relationship dynamics, but lower scores or different attachment styles do not imply negativity.
