Annual Exams

A wellness exam is typically performed annually. Although, patients at a high risk of illness may be required to undergo wellness exams more often. Or, if you notice that it’s been a while since you last saw your patient, you might decide to do a wellness exam then.

It is essential to consider the public outlook on wellness examinations. A study by Oboler et al. (2002) suggested that more than 90% of the respondents felt that a physical inspection of blood pressure, heart, lungs, abdomen, and reflexes should be conducted. The continuation of wellness checks across the medical scope is widely supported by the public in the United States of America (Oboler et al., 2002).
