No. Carepatron works as a complete practice management platform on its own. Managed billing is an optional add-on for when you want insurance work handled for you.
Credentialing is included when you use Carepatron managed billing. Managed billing is 3.9% of what we actually collect for you, and the Carepatron platform itself is a flat monthly subscription. Most billing services charge 7 to 12%, with credentialing billed separately on top.
They stay with you. You are credentialed under your own NPI, your contracts are yours, and we act as your agent only.
You are live with your first commercial payer within 60 days, or we pay you $200 per provider. No cap. We only count the days that are ours; if we are waiting on you or a government payer, the clock pauses.
No. Payments go straight to your bank account. We invoice our fee separately and are never a signatory.
